Local and regional leaders call for a comprehensive sustainable EU food policy

EUROCITIES collaborated to the drafting of the CoR opinion “Towards a sustainable EU food policy” approved today in the Committee of the Region plenary session. We believe that cities are key in developing sustainable food systems that are inclusive, resilient, safe and diverse, that provide healthy and affordable food to all people, that minimise waste and conserve biodiversity while adapting to and mitigating impacts of climate Change. Tackling populism in Europe's cities

In this letter to the editor, Daniël Termont, Mayor of Ghent and EUROCITIES president, expresses the EUROCITIES belief that European cities should be given every opportunity to work across borders, and deliver solutions for their citizens. Circular economy task force holds inaugural meeting

On 1 March, representatives of 12 EUROCITIES member cities attended the first meeting of our circular economy task force in Brussels.
