Join us for another webinar from our series on smart city solutions on Tuesday 8 September from 11:00 to 12:15:
Sharing Cities’ Smart City Solutions – Webinar series: Sustainable energy management system
The series will present the smart cities measures that have been implemented in lighthouse cities of Lisbon, London and Milan as part of the Sharing Cities project.
This webinar on sustainable energy management systems will explore their implementation through two case studies from the lighthouse cities of London (Greenwhich) and Milan. The presenters will delve into the details of their sustainable energy management systems. Then, some tools for replication, scale-up and implementation in other cities will be presented.
What is a sustainable energy management system?
A SEMS is a modular system which centralises information from, and control over, many local energy systems and devices. SEMS integrates heat, power, transport, and the built environment, combining data connectivity and the internet of things to optimise energy systems and strategies.
After the presentations, we invite all participants to join the discussion, ask questions and share their experiences. We are looking forward to an engaging exchange!
The webinar will be accessible online; practical details on how to join the webinar will be sent in due time to all members that registered for the event.
