The Directorate General for Research & Innovation (DG R&I) and the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) of the European Commission, in cooperation with the World Economic Forum Covid Action Platform and its initiative Hour of Pride are organising a webinar on COVID-19.

The webinar is called “Diverse Cities facing the COVID-19 crisis: EU Research & Innovation for Inclusive Urban Development” and will be held on 7 July from 15:00 to 16:30 CEST.
 
The event is structured around the following questions:
  • How can Research and Innovation help cities to foster D&I and be better prepared to respond to crisis?
  • What is the role of social innovation in changing current urban governance models?
  • Why are gender and intersectionality key for inclusive urban development?
Target audience:
This event should engage representatives of cities, universities, start-ups, SMEs, private companies and key stakeholders working on D&I at the urban level from the angle of European Institutions, networks of cities, EU funded projects, national governments and regions, among others.
