The European Commission has opened a broad public consultation on the future of social Europe. Vienna's first children and youth strategy was adopted on 28 May 2020. The strategy aims to make Vienna the most child and youth-friendly city. Among other things, it will anchor a children's and youth budget of 1 million EUR for 2021 as well as a children's and youth parliament.
