Local and regional leaders call for a comprehensive sustainable EU food policy

EUROCITIES collaborated to the drafting of the CoR opinion “Towards a sustainable EU food policy” approved today in the Committee of the Regions plenary session. We believe that cities are key in developing sustainable food systems that are inclusive, resilient, safe and diverse, that provide healthy and affordable food to all people, that minimise waste and conserve biodiversity while adapting to and mitigating impacts of climate change.

Green Digital Charter collection of case-studies 2016
