On 30 and 31 May, Edinburgh will host the first ‘work-shadowing visit’ organised under the Green Digital Charter/GuiDanCe umbrella.

Delegates from the cities of Oulu and Reykjavik will get the opportunity to discover actors involved in Edinburgh’s smart transformation and learn from local projects.

By organising a travel to ‘Transport for Edinburgh’, the host meets its visitors’ own priority in terms of urban development: the implementation of a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP). Other activities will include a demonstration of Edinburgh’s LiFi, a visit to the Living Lab and a morning of workshops around the Council’s overall Sustainability Policy.

Your city has signed the Green Digital Charter and is interested in visiting one of its peers? We have prepared a practical guide (bit.ly/GDC-A-practical-guide-for-training-visits), in which you will find all the information you need. The annexed documents can be consulted at bit.ly/GDC-training-activities.

For more information about technical training visits, feel free to contact the GDC/GuiDanCe team at Rebecca.Portail[a]eurocities.eu.
