The EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), the biggest European conference dedicated to renewables and energy efficiency in Europe, will take place completely online this year, from 22-26 June 2020. Registrations are available here.

Participants will enjoy this year’s EUSEW theme ‘Beyond the crisis: clean energy for green recovery and growth’ through a dedicated interactive website. Highlights of the event include a 3-day policy conference featuring over 30 high-level sessions, a debate with the EUSEW Ambassadors and the EU Sustainable Energy Awards ceremony, as well as matchmaking activities and networking opportunities for participants.
The Covenant of Mayors Europe Office is hosting a session on 24 June: The role of local authorities in a fair energy transition, through retrofitting buildings (9:00-10:30), with the participation of Wroclaw and Glasgow, that will give insight into the strategies adopted at the subnational level to retrofit buildings to accelerate the energy transition in an inclusive way.
You can find the event’s agenda along with more detailed information on the many sessions taking place here.
Many other sessions will discuss the local dimension of EU policies and provide recommendations to policymakers on topics such as energy poverty, green recovery, financing, building renovations, the new LIFE calls on clean energy transition, and more.

Registrations are open until 26 June.
