URBACT has launched a good practice call to all European cities, regardless of
size or geographical region, with the aim of promoting, rewarding and
transferring the great work being done in the field of integrated urban

URBACT has launched a Good Practice call for all European cities, no matter
their size or geographical area, with the aim to promote, reward and transfer
the great work they are doing in the field of integrated urban development.
In difficult times, cities face ever growing urban challenges linked to demographic change, climate and environmental targets, social inclusion, unemployment and urban poverty, to name just a few.
URBACT would like to identify 'hidden' good practices in cities that respond to local challenges and deliver results. These practices may be of interest to other European cities wishing to learn from their peers, adapt and reuse tried and tested projects.
To identify these practices and share them widely, URBACT launched a good practice call
running from 5 December 2016 until 31 March 2017.
Selected cities will be awarded the title URBACT Good Practice City
. The label will give cities the recognition and visibility they deserve for the results accomplished. Furthermore, the selected cities will be part of the pioneering group of URBACT good practices to be widely promoted at EU and international level.
Furthermore, selected cities will be able to share their good practices with other cities within a 'transfer network' (call to be launched in September 2017). This process is described in a nutshell here
There is no limit to the number of good practices selected and there are no pre-defined thematic entries either. For more details about the good practice call and the application procedure please visit the URBACT website
